January to April Obsessions

/

Obsession — An idea or thought that continually preoccupies or intrudes on a person’s mind.”

-Oxford’s English Dictionary

I’m so confused how it’s already May!  I feel like the year just started two weeks ago; it’s flown by so quickly.  Work picked up after the New Year and hasn’t slowed down.  I’ve collected a list of some of my favorite things from the beginning of this year.

End of 2020 Obsessions

We’re one month into 2021 and I have to say this is the fastest January has gone in quite a few years.  Work was super busy the past two months so that would probably be why!  I never followed up on my favorites for the fall of 2020 so I thought I would combine that with some of my favorite Christmas presents to give you my end of 2020 obsessions (all of the pictures link to the products!).  Hopefully, you’ll find some of your new favorites from this list!

Summer Obsessions

Holy moly, it’s October?! Craziness.  I’m a little behind on my obsessions posts but this summer provided me some really great products that I love so much.  A lot of these products are things I use every day or almost every day since I purchased them.  If you decide to try out any of the products in this post, I hope you enjoy them and please share if you do!

Spring Obsessions

Honestly, I can’t believe it’s July and time to review my spring obsessions.  It really feels like spring just started and not that it ended around a week ago.  Anyone else feel like it should be April instead of July??  During quarantine, I really embraced the comfy life as I settled in to working from home and got to enjoy some more down time as the courthouse where I work was only really processing emergency cases for much of April and May.  So here’s what items I loved during the past few months and maybe they’ll inspire you to try them out as well!

Winter Obsessions

This year definitely did not start the way anyone anticipated, and I hope you and your family are all doing well and social distancing.  In case you’re going a little stir crazy while social distancing, I’ve complied my favorites from the past few months and I hope you can enjoy some of them in the near future.

End of the Year Obsessions

Happy End of 2019!  I wanted to combine my obsessions of October, November, and December into a post looking back at my 2019 so I hope I can provide some great recommendations for you to look at in the new year of 2020!

Summer Obsessions Part 2

The second part of my summer obsessions post is finally here, I’m so sorry for taking so long to get this up.  This part covers what I loved of tv/movies, music, books, and other things that were released this summer.

Summer Obsessions Part 1

October is here so that means summer is officially over.  Because my summer consisted of all things graduation and the bar exam, I didn’t get my normal obsessions posts up when I had originally wanted to.  However, I decided to combine all of my favorites from May through September into two giant posts separated by topic so here is the first of the two that focuses on the Beauty, Fashion, and Food that I loved this summer.

March/April Obsessions

The end of the semester has come and gone and I can’t believe how quickly this year has gone.  My law school classes, internship, and volunteer commitments really consumed most of my time this semester, but I still had some time in the past few months to find some really great things I want to share with you.  Read on to find out what they are!

January and February Obsessions

-Oxford’s English Dictionary

I have been the absolute worst blogger this semester, and part of the reason why is because I’ve been sick since before Christmas.  So firstly, I’d like to apologize for not posting consistently this semester.  And I thought I would share some of my favorite things from the past two months in a joint January/February Obsessions post.

December Obsessions

Happy New Year!  Before we get too far into 2019, I wanted to share what caught my eye during the last month of 2018.  Between finals, vacation, and the holidays, this month went by so quickly that I’m surprised that I could find things to talk about!

November Obsessions

-Oxford’s English Dictionary

November was a crazy busy month with the end of the semester and trying to finish outlines and prep for the onslaught of finals so that’s why I haven’t been as great with uploading in the past month.  But I’ve tried some great finds this month and I can’t wait to share them with you!

October Obsessions

This semester is going by so quickly, I can’t believe it.  I can’t believe next week is my last full week of classes for the semester and that finals start in a little less than a month.  Read on to see what I really enjoyed during the month of October.

September Obsessions

Now that it’s officially the month of pumpkins, candy corn, and all things fall, I thought I would share my favorite things from September.  If fall break is in your future, definitely read through my old obsessions posts and check out some of the books if you want to get some “fun” reading in to take a break from law school reading.

August Obsessions

August:  the end of summer, the beginning of back to school, and a good month for new obsessions.  Starting school may mean my obsessions may not be as wonderful for the next few months as my only obsession will be doing school work.

July Obsessions

Wow, this month flew by!  Maybe because I took off three days for the Fourth and then it was time to wrap up my internship.  I didn’t have much time to test out new products and shows, but the ones I did were all great!

June Obsessions

June is definitely my favorite month out of the year, specifically because it’s my birthday month!  And I found some great gems this past month that made it even better!

May Obsessions

Summer vacay is finally here!  May feels like it went by super quick between finishing up finals, working a few shifts at Banana, and the starting my summer internship.  But I’ve discovered some great things this month!

April Obsessions

I’m two finals deep into finals week with three more finals before I’m finished with my 2L year (which I honestly cannot believe!).  This month was a little crazy, but I decided to take a break from studying to tell you what I loved during this month!

March Obsessions

/

March was a whirlwind of a month between spring break, snow days, and Easter break.  I spent a lot of time watching Netflix and movies, if you can’t tell by the scope of my obsessions.
